Relax in our spacious Georgian Townhouse

The Townhouse  is a charming Georgian House situated in the conservation area of Kelso.  The principal rooms overlook the main square.  The house has many original features. It has been comfortably and tastefully modernised . There are three well appointed rooms with accommodation for up to six people on a Bed only or Bed and Breakfast basis .  The rooms have TV, WI-FI, and tea and coffee making facilities. Sadly we do not cater for pets or young children.

Kelso is a delightful Border town with a uniquely cobbled square and a host of activities, the fishing on the Tweed is world famous.  For golfers The Roxburghe is ten minutes away., and for racegoers the course is similarly close. There are regular racemeetings between September and May. There are a trio of highly renowned historic houses notably Floors, Mellerstain and Bowhill all within easy reach, not forgetting Abbotsford, home of Sir Walter Scott. Much favoured by walking enthusiasts St Cuthberts and The Pennine Way are nearby. The annual Border Common Riding festivities take place in July when the main starting point is in the Kelso Square with the backdrop of the resplendent 200 year old town hall .

We hope to welcome you to The Townhouse. There are many interesting books to read and pictures to peruse.
